Group cruise preorder
Offer one coordinated shirt before final payment or departure. Set an order deadline, collect sizes, and order the exact quantity.
FROM DOWNLOAD TO PROFIT
Choose a production path, price it clearly, collect orders, and deliver a polished keepsake without becoming a full-time apparel company.
CHOOSE YOUR MODEL
Offer one coordinated shirt before final payment or departure. Set an order deadline, collect sizes, and order the exact quantity.
Bundle a shirt into a premium planning or hosted-group package. The added value can support a higher service fee.
Publish selected designs through a print-on-demand store. The provider produces and ships each order after purchase.
Use coordinated shirts for ship inspections, conferences, hosted sailings, and social content that promotes the agency.
THE COMPLETE WORKFLOW
Open a design and choose Download package. The ZIP is also saved in My Library for later access.
Use the transparent PNG for most DTG, DTF, and print-on-demand uploads. Use the SVG when a printer requests vector art or you need lossless scaling. Use the mockup for your sales page. Start from the listing kit, then add your garment, price, sizes, deadline, and delivery details.
Confirm the garment color gives the artwork enough contrast. Check the provider’s exact print area, file format, resolution, and color requirements for that product.
Check print size, position, color, small text, fabric feel, and wash performance before offering a design to a large group.
Give buyers a small choice: one design, two or three garment colors, and a clear size chart. Too many choices slow group orders.
Set a firm order cutoff, export the order list, recheck quantities and sizes, then submit production. Keep the provider confirmation with the sailing record.
PRODUCTION OPTIONS
Best for individual online orders and low inventory risk. Providers such as Printful, Printify, and Gelato connect products and fulfillment. Catalogs, coverage, base costs, and delivery times change; compare the actual garment and destination before publishing.
Best for a coordinated group order, local pickup, and hands-on quality checks. Ask about minimum quantity, setup fees, reprints, deadlines, and whether they prefer PNG or SVG.
Best when you want to stock blank shirts and press on demand. Buy transfers from a reputable supplier, follow that supplier’s exact instructions, and test every garment/transfer combination.
| Method | Works well for | Watch for |
|---|---|---|
| DTG | Detailed, full-color art; small runs | Garment compatibility, underbase, fine details |
| DTF transfer | Full color on many fabric types | Supplier-specific heat, pressure, peel, and repress |
| Screen-print transfer | Repeated group orders and bold art | Color/setup economics and minimums |
| Sublimation | Light-colored polyester | Not a general solution for dark cotton shirts |
| HTV | Names, numbers, simple personalization | Layer count, weeding time, and bulk |
HEAT PRESS BASICS
Heat, time, pressure, peel temperature, and repress steps vary by transfer and garment. The supplier’s instructions always control. Treat the checklist below as a process, not a universal temperature setting.
PRICE WITH CONFIDENCE
Use actual provider quotes. This estimate excludes income tax and your general business overhead.
PRINTFUL FILE READINESS
Every file is RGBA, 4500 × 5625 pixels, tagged at 300 DPI, and contains a transparent background.
Every PNG includes an embedded sRGB color profile. No file exceeds Printful’s 200 MB or 20,000-pixel limits.
Every SVG contains vector paths, no embedded raster image, and no live text requiring a missing font.
Production note: 4500 × 5625 pixels equals 15 × 18.75 inches at 300 DPI. Printful still requires checking the exact product’s print-area template and safe zone. Every file has a small amount of normal edge anti-aliasing, and none had more than 5% partially transparent pixels. Avoid enlarging artwork beyond the selected product’s recommended print area.
